My Beagle Puppy Is Driving Me Insane
My 4 month old beagle puppy is driving both me and my husband insane. I walk him in the morning before going to work and then I put him inside my bathroom with music, the lights on, newspaper and all his toys. When I get back home he has peed everywhere but on the newspaper! I take him outside and he does everything but go potty. As soon as we get back to my apartment he pees!
My beagle puppy is driving me insane. My bf’s family dog is driving me insane. Rant.. My beagle just passed this week. He was old.. Yes, my beagle ate my bra. Beagles are hounds, driven (I would posit, driven crazy) by their sense of smell. Humans have about five million scent receptors in the back of our noses; beagles have. My dog does this, it is so incredibly frustrating. I can’t even roll over in bed or shift in my chair without her getting up, jumping on me, tackling me, getting extremely excited. She’s 50lbs of border collie and I am almost afraid to get out of bed some days because I know she’ll basically attack me. I’m at the end of my rope. My Puppy is Driving Me Insane! Dunder, our troublesome beagle.. Below we address some of these issues and give you essential tips on how to survive a new puppy based on my own experience of having a Beagle puppy – possibly the most misbehaved of all breeds! Understanding. 10 month old beagle, driving me crazy. So we got a beagle last fall, and he was typical puppy. He's getting worse, not better with age. He chews EVERYTHING, we pulled tile from our bathroom because of a leak, put it in a tub, he pulls it out and chews it up. Shoes, toys, furniture, everything. He's got a bunch of different types of toys, but.
You need to let your puppy use up some of her pent up energy. I have an 11 week old puppy, and he nips and bites on the sofas, or tries to make as much havoc as possible. When I first got my pup, he never barked, never bit, and never did anything wrong. It was adorable, and he was a little angel. What can I do? She is a 9.5 weeks old beagle and I've had her for 12 days. She has moments when she goes absolutely crazy jumping at me and bites me really really hard. She jumps on the sofa and launches herself at my face and I have to be quick to deflect her (she's bit me on the face a couple of times). Telling her off makes no difference as it's like she's possessed. Don’t get me wrong, I love these guys. I really do. I wouldn’t trade them for the most well-adjusted, well-behaved dogs on the planet. But sometimes, I’m tempted. Sometimes, they drive me insane and I wonder why I even bother with dogs at all. Surely, a goldfish would be easier. I hear they don’t shed much, either. Here's some backround on my situation, this is the first time i've had TWO dogs at the same time, and the first time i've had Shih Tzu's. They are great dogs, don't get me wrong, I think they are more loyal than girl dogs, but they are more stubborn then the Beagle dog that I had. I take them out to go potty in the spot we want them to go in, but theres absolutely nothing I can do to get them.
