My Chihuahua Puppy Is Shy
A shy dog is usually a scared dog. Chihuahuas act timid when they are afraid of a situation. If your Chihuahua didn’t receive much socialization as a puppy, they might be fearful of other dogs or new people. Perhaps your Chihuahua is only timid in public. Loud cars, bright lights, and big crowds can be terrifying when you’re only nine.

Nothing brings out the human-animal bond like a relationship built on trust and good communication, and positive-reinforcement training is the way to get there.
Training a timid or shy Chihuahua takes even more time than the average dog. They have a lot to over come and must build their confidence in themselves. A shy dog is learning to trust his own instincts and become comfortable following the guidance and leadership of his human companion. Help! My chihuahua hates my partner.. If she is already shy and fearful, she will hate this..
