My Corgi Puppies Ear Fell Back Down

honey Says: January 19, 2013 at 9:37 am. I found a lump on my dog (3 year old lab mix) last week. It was about 1 cm in diameter and very red/inflamed. The vet said it was a mast cell tumor and aspirated it to confirm this before scheduling surgery.

My corgi puppies ear fell back down. It not a problem, just a muscular thing. My Corgi's ears both went up as a pup, then one went up for about 7 years, but ever since he turned about 8 both have been up (he's now almost 15). Never worried him or us. Funnily, when he is sick or stressed sometimes the ear that used to be down sometime looks a bit "wonky" and looks like it's wilting! My GSD puppies always already had upright ears before they started teething, but the tips would get floppy when they started teething. Their ears never fell the way BC ears sometimes do, but the tips looked like wet noodles, or jello, yeah jello. Some German shepherd ears come up at 4 weeks and never go back down.
