My Golden Retriever Puppy Has Red Eyes

My Golden Retriever has had red, glazed over eyes for the past several days. I thought maybe they were allergies and the soonest I could get him scheduled to go to the Vet was on Saturday Morning. This afternoon, when I got home, I noticed that not only could he painfully open his eyes, but it was like he was blind.
