My Husky Puppy Has Problems With One Of Her Eyes
This is indeed rare and one of the rarest variations in Husky eye coloring. Parti eyed means that one of the eyes has two shades of coloring in them: blue & brown. They look amazing and somewhat freakishly. I’m quite amazed that my Husky lady is parti eyed, as her right eye has some blue shades while the majority of the eye is brown.
My husky puppy has problems with one of her eyes. Any Siberian husky owner needs to take adequate care of his or her husky and take him to a vet regularly, even if there are no physical signs of the skin problem. Squinty, appeasing eyes: If your puppy is squinty it means one of three things — they are trying to appease you (or another person or dog), they are slightly fearful (you can tell if they’re rump is lowered), or there is something actually caught in their eye. (Not usual, but if they scratch or rub their eye, you should check.) One of the most common health problems for Siberian Huskies is cataracts, affecting about 10% of the breed. Husky eyes are typically almond shaped and moderately spaced. Their eyes can range in color, with both eyes not necessarily being the same color; for instance, two blue eyes, two brown eyes, one of each (bi-eyed), or even one eye with both brown and blue in it (parti-eye). Dogs with one blue and one brown eye are called bi-eyed, while dogs that have blue eyes flecked with brown, or vice versa, are known as parti-eyed or split-eyed. Some Huskies with parti-eyes will look like they have pie-shaped wedges of brown coloring in eyes that are otherwise blue. These mixed color combinations are relatively common.
