My Lab Puppy Follows Me Everywhere

Hi. I posted the following in r/puppy101 but it was removed for being too close to a medical issue.. For the past couple of weeks since we got our female cockapoo puppy, she has barely left my side. She follows me everywhere, lies on my foot during my work day, and was basically every where I went, the moment I stood up, and crying when I was in the loo etc. I just got a 3 month old yellow lab puppy and I believe the owner didn't have time for him, so that's how it came to the sale. He follows me everywhere, even to the bathroom and if I close the door he weeps, barks, cries and jumps on the door until I finally give in cause I am either annoyed or just want to be reunited with him. He even sleeps with me at night. My dog loves me dearly. It watches me and follows me everywhere. I have had my lab just a year today, from a shelter. He also has separation anxiety which I didn’t realize until just recently. I just thought he was getting back at me for leaving him.
