After she got off i tried taking her out and she just stayed on the bed and fell asleep. Any ideas as to the reason? Just like babies of any species, puppies can get sick, and when they do, it can be a handful, especially since puppies aren’t the best at communicating what is wrong. My puppy is 4 months old German Shepherd cross Rottweiler and when you stroke him he sometimes growls. When i tried to pick him up to get him of the sofa he turned round to bite me. Help. For dogs, licking can mean a number of things. Mother dogs often lick their puppies' faces the moment they're born, or to groom them. The kids know to respect the pits and vice versa. Any dog, if raised to be mean and aggressive and treated bad, will be exactly that. Let me paint you a picture (on a small canvas so it won’t be long): I grew up with a dog and two cats my entire life. In 7th grade I had a crush on girl who was going to look at a Shih Tzu with. My Pitbull had a litter of 8 Pit/Lab mix, every puppy had their own personality bur they were all very smart, very loving, and they all wanted to please. Now my dog Bob, a girl, not so much with the cuddling until she hears thunder. But she loves to be pet and will nudge at your hand every chance she gets. She has to be around me constantly. Its even worse when my husband is out of town for work. She seems to cling even harder when he is away. Its funny to if I walk out the front door and don't lock it she is ok. If I put the key in the lock and turn it she goes nuts crying and jumping on the front door like it's the end of the world. I have a female bichon frise she’s 2 1/2 years old. She is like my baby very close to me. I think I spoil her too much, what I meant by this, It is that I like to spend too much time with her (by the way I let her sleep our my bed too.) OK so this is the thing. My fiancé wants to buy a pitbull puppy but I really don’t know if they will get.
