Why Has My Puppy's Ears Suddenly Started Drooping? As your dog's ears develop, you'll see them standing up more frequently. Marius's have been erect since he was born this is him at 3 days old. 2 weeks. 3.5 weeks. and 6 weeks. They have never been floppy but the same breeder I got him from has puppies that do tend to have floppy ears but only until they are about 4 weeks havnt seen it past that.. There are different things that can attribute to it. No matter what your Chihuahua’s ears are like, just let nature take its course. Droopy ears look very cute, so why not just let it be?
